Designer For Hire

Hello my name is Bill Bonner I was a product/graphic designer for a company for over 20 years and due to a series of unfortunate events I found myself unemployed. Finding a job in my field is very difficult and now a days just about every graphic designer job requires web design skills which my original reason for learning web design.

I had no experience with web design prior to starting the web design certificate program here at CCC. I took the html/css class, Then the content management class and I survived the java script class. I think I am going to make a t-shirt design that says that. I am a Mac user but have since learned to use Windows PC and use it for most of my coding.

I am most excited to learn about the design aspects of Web Design. Although I had a great job doing what I do best but I was stuck in a rut. The bright side of getting laid off is that It has opened my eyes to how much more I could learn. Even though I have been using Illustrator and photoshop since having to load them off a series of floppy disc, I have found new ways of using them. If I was to climb and set on top of a mountain and grow a long beard and become a wise man the wisest thing I would tell everyone is to never stop learning.

I have 3 daughters I enjoy spending time with them when I can, I enjoy a change of scenery going to the ocean, the desert the mountains, Being around water. Exploring. I used to be a musician back in 90s. Some of the music I wrote was sampled on my web sites.
